In today’s eCommerce world, e-fulfillment and delivery’s speed and quality are key to the success of any online merchant. To meet the growing needs of both eCommerce businesses and online customers, we’ll soon open our next fulfillment and cross-border warehouse – this time in Sofia, Bulgaria.
With its strategic location within the Bulgarian capital, the new warehouse allows for faster order processing, inventory optimization and reduced transit times to customers in Bulgaria and the region – Greece, Croatia, Slovenia, Italy etc. The new infrastructure is designed to ensure high efficiency at every stage – from receiving the goods in the warehouse and fulfillment process to the last-mile delivery. This means our customers – online merchants, receive tailored solutions and the opportunity to focus on growing their business while we take care of the logistics.
The new fulfillment and cross-border center features a modern warehouse area, designed for operational efficiency and flexibility.
One “Cota 0” ramp and two hydraulic dock ramps will facilitate the loading and unloading processes, allowing direct access to a variety of vehicle types. The 10,5 m. clear height will accommodate a 10-meter pallet system with a total of 1360 pallet locations. Additionally, 1500 picking locations and a 200 sq.m. mezzanine will be included to support the fulfillment processes. LogiSoft’s high-tech sorting line with 9 exits and a dynamic DWS system will be integrated optimizing critical sorting operations for cross-border eCommerce shipments.
The new warehouse will support the full logistics mix of services by the euShipments Group. This includes warehousing and order fulfillment, domestic and cross-border deliveries across 27+ markets, Injection point, and returns management. All services and processes are eligible for on-demand customization to meet every client’s needs, including the already supported B2B orders, custom packaging, bundling, assembling procedures, and more.
In addition, the new warehouse is equipped with a photovoltaic installation on the roof, which will cover part of the electricity needs of the fulfillment processes. This setup aligns with our vision for business sustainability and will be followed by additional measures to further reduce GHG emissions across our operations.
“This new fulfillment and cross-border facility marks another major step forward for euShipments.com” – comments Ivaylo Shalamanov, Regional operations manager at euShipments.com and one of the key figures behind the accelerated launch of the new facility.
Sofia is known for its excellent transport links – both within Bulgaria and to neighboring countries. From this location, we can connect online merchants to millions of potential customers in Southeast Europe more quickly and more efficiently. The new warehouse will work alongside our existing hub in Ruse, which is already one of the euShipments Group’s most important facilities. Together, they will further support outstanding cross-border operations for the online merchants.
The transit times from the new Sofia facility to the CEE markets are as follows:
At euShipments.com, we strive to reduce transit times to a minimum through our network of strategically located warehouses, modern logistics processes and expertise in delivery optimization. With the new location in Sofia, transit times are not only shorter, but also more predictable, which is key to the competitiveness of eCommerce business and building stable relationships with customers.
In 2024 alone, we processed almost 10 million shipments for clients across Europe. In 2025 so far, we are processing over a million shipments per month. With the new fulfillment and cross-border hub, we’ll be ready to handle even larger volumes. For fast-growing online stores, the combination of easy logistics onboarding and more storage space in Sofia will be a practical launchpad for cross-border expansion.
“With the new fulfillment and cross-border center in Sofia, our clients benefit directly from faster transit time, variety of last-mile delivery networks and methods, and a more reliable overall logistics process. It allows them to serve their own customers better while keeping logistics simple and local.” shares Iliyan Sharliyski, Regional Sales Manager – Sofia at euShipments.com.

As demand grows, our network adapts. Flexible storage solutions, automated fulfillment, and real-time tracking ensure that businesses can scale efficiently without interruptions. By taking the logistical burden off online merchants’ shoulders, we enable them to innovate, experiment, and grow with confidence.
Beyond organic growth, we continue to widen our ecosystem with new partnerships, tech integrations, and optimizations of the infrastructure. For the past 13 years we’ve evolved from a courier integrator into a pan-European fulfillment and cross-border delivery network with 15 logistics hubs and millions of annual shipments.
The coming Sofia warehouse is the latest proof that our company builds where the clients are pulling. For fast-growing brands, the combination of streamlined logistics entry and the new Sofia facility creates a powerful accelerator for cross-border success. Online merchants can focus on growth, while our team manages the logistics complexity in the background.
