As the busiest eCommerce period of the year approaches, Stefan Popa, founder and CEO of Helpship (now part of euShipments Group and rebranded as euShipments Romania), took the time to share more about the company’s dynamics and success as part of the euShipments Group. To the pride of our entire international team, Stefan, who is the youngest CEO and the youngest C-level executive in the group, was recently included in Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe. This is undoubtedly a huge recognition both on a personal level and for euShipments Romania that he leads.
Before we continue with Stefan’s interview, we’ll present you with some up-to-date information about euShipments Romania, which occupies leading positions in the eCommerce fulfillment and logistics industry in Romania. Romania is one of the fastest growing eCommerce markets in Europe, with 96% Internet penetration. euShipments Romania (formerly Helpship) operates the biggest fulfillment and logistics facility within our network – 20 000 sq.m. operational area and dedicated office space, housing nearly 150 team members. The warehouse is situated in CTPark Oradea Cargo Terminal, near the Romanian-Hungarian border – offering fast access to Oradea Airport and key CEE highways. The impressive operational area with 13-meter-high pallet racking system has a capacity of 9 000 pallet locations and 15 000 picking locations. The fulfillment processes are semi-automated thanks to the installed packing and stretching machinery, designed for maximum operational efficiency.
July 2025 marked a record-breaking month for euShipments Group, with nearly 1.5 million shipments successfully processed and delivered to online shoppers across Europe. euShipments Romania played a major role for this milestone, contributing with the impressive volume of shipments. This milestone highlights the scale of operations handled by the Stefan’s facility, but also the dedication of his team.
I founded Helpship in 2019 with a vision to simplify cross-border eCommerce logistics for merchants in Romania and across Europe. Over the years, we grew steadily, focusing on efficient fulfillment, reliable deliveries, and building strong partnerships with both local and international eCommerce players. We have come a long way from a 1 600 sq.m. warehouse to our current 20 000 sq.m. facility.
Joining the euShipments Group in 2023 was a natural next step in our path. It allowed us to scale operations and expand reach across Europe, while keeping our team in Oradea at the heart of the operations. Today, as euShipments Romania, we continue to build on Helpship’s foundation to serve hundreds of online merchants and handle significant part of the shipment volumes within the group.

My vision for the coming years is to solidify the company’s leading position in the industry in the region. eCommerce logistics is becoming increasingly complex, and online customers in Europe are becoming more and more demanding when it comes to deliveries. This will create conditions for a growing number of eCommerce businesses of all sizes to need high-quality and personalized logistics processes in order to grow steadily and confidently in Romania and Europe. We have all the infrastructure, processes, and know-how to meet these challenges and provide the most favorable environment for our customers’ development.
Having such results on a group level is both a challenge and a source of pride for me and the team. I don’t just rely on systems and automation – I rely on the people. Every day, our strong team brings energy, motivation, and pays careful attention to every online order and shipment. I stay closely involved in operations at all times to ensure that every online merchant and customer receives the same high-quality of services we aim to provide.
I DON’T JUST RELY ON SYSTEMS AND AUTOMATION – I RELY ON THE PEOPLE.
I expect record volumes for the entire group. My team and I have already started the preparation for the peak period by increasing operational capacities, communicating with clients about their sales expectations during the period, and also with last-mile partners to make sure that everyone is taking measures to prevent possible delivery delays. Our goal is that even in the busiest periods, online customers will receive their shipments on time and without compromising on quality.
My advice to online merchants is to act boldly when it comes to scaling their business. With the right logistics partner, international expansion is easier than it seems. We at euShipments Romania are here to provide them with security, predictability and the opportunity to grow in every EU market.
