The eCommerce business stars is a new event series by eCommerce Academy, and euShipments.com was a partner in the pilot edition held in late September 2024. The event took place in Sofia, Bulgaria, and the first guest of the format was Svetlozar Dimitrov, CEO of euShipments Group.
The key concept of this future series is to not only present the stories of successful eCommerce businesses in the region but also the personal journeys of their founders. It follows a “live podcast” format where, in dialogue with Nikola Ilchev, guests share various interesting and motivating details from their life and career paths.
As a long-term partner of eCommerce Academy, euShipments.com gladly co-hosted the first event under the theme The eCommerce business stars. Svetlozar Dimitrov shared moments from his personal journey in front of an audience of eCommerce entrepreneurs and professionals.
The interview began with memories from as far back as 2012, when the business, now known as euShipments Group, first started. An interesting fact, and a point of pride for us, is that the company’s first employee is still part of the euShipments.com team.
The next part of the conversation between Dimitrov and Ilchev provided a point to consider about what the goals and priorities of a company should be if it seeks to grow not just in scale but also with purpose. In the hour-long interview, Dimitrov addressed the evolution of a rapidly growing business and the dilemma of preserving values over financial gains – a dilemma relevant not only to international eCommerce logistics, in which we at euShipments.com operate, but to all industries.
