Capital’s Logistics Report 2024 (with 2022 analysis) “Transport, Logistics and Courier Services”, was published on February 16, both online and printed edition. The report is annually issued in February and standardly examines and ranks the TOP 20 largest and most significant companies in the field of logistics, transport and courier services. For another year, euShipments.com is on the list, and with our KPIs for 2022 we enter the top ten, or more precisely – the ninth position. This is seven places up in the list – in the last year’s report, which analyzed 2021, we were listed at number 16.
The edition considers eCommerce as an increasingly important “driving power of the courier services market”. In just one year (between 2021 and 2022), eCommerce shipments revenue has increased by over 23%. Moreover, only the revenues from the TOP 20 companies are taken into account – and even some of them don’t serve the eCommerce sector. The numbers are indicative of the growing importance of eCommerce not only for the logistics industry, but also as a percentage of Bulgaria’s GDP – 2.14% for 2022. There are also slight changes in the composition of the TOP 20 compared to the previous year, but the majority of companies in the list keep their position or move 1-2 positions up or down.
It is noteworthy that euShipments.com is one of the few companies on the list that handles eCommerce shipments only and focuses on fulfillment services.
“Despite the large-scale processes related to our business development, we don’t shift our main focus – on the contrary, we follow it more strongly than ever. We are strengthening our operations and market share in countries where our clients want to be more competitive and make more sales. This is how we have decided where we will make the acquisitions that are part of our development strategy.” – our CEO Svetlozar Dimitrov commented on the question of the Capital’s team regarding the business growth of euShipments.com
As you know, last year marked an important step in our development. We have set up our own logistics group, where together with our acquired companies we share expertise and resources. This has resulted in the ability to scale our operations, processing and delivering a much larger number of eCommerce shipments across our network.
Given our performance for 2023, we confidently expect in the next Capital’s report – analyzing 2023, to be even higher in the TOP 20 ranking. Our growth is not only due to the increase in sales/shipments of our clients, but also reflects the overall growth of the eCommerce industry. For comparison, in 2022 we processed and delivered over 1.8 million shipments, while for 2023 the number is almost 6 million.
This trend gives us the confidence to predict even better results (more shipments) for us and our customers within this calendar year. We remain committed to building successful and long-lasting partnerships with aspiring online merchants who strive for continuous growth.
