New euShipments.com fulfillment hub in Austria

We are expanding the euShipments.com fulfillment network with a new fulfillment center in Vienna, Austria, which will become operational on July 1, 2026.

The new facility is a significant step in the ongoing development of our logistics ecosystem and the third euShipments.com fulfillment center, launched in 2026. Given our acquisition by Austrian Post earlier this year, the warehouse is located specifically in Vienna as a result of the joint efforts by the euShipments.com team and our strategic partners from Austrian Post. By combining euShipments.com’s fulfillment expertise and cross-border delivery capabilities with Austrian Post’s leading last-mile delivery network, we are creating even more opportunities for eCommerce businesses looking to scale internationally.

Austria continues to offer significant opportunities for eCommerce growth. With strong purchasing power, a digitally engaged consumer base, and a central European location, it remains an attractive destination for both local and international online merchants.

Through our new Vienna fulfillment center, online merchants can position their inventory close to their customers in Austria, Germany, and Central Europe, optimizing transit times and delivery costs without the need to manage multiple logistics providers, contracts, and operational processes. Instead, businesses can rely on a single logistics partner for the entire post-purchase process.

“Austria is a market with exceptional potential for the growth of eCommerce and international sales. Through our new fulfillment hub, we are enabling local and international online merchants to partner with a single logistics provider across the entire region, eliminating the need for multiple integrations, local vendors, and complex operational processes” – commented Svetlozar Dimitrov, Co-founder and CEO of euShipments.com.

For Austrian online merchants, the Vienna fulfillment center creates new opportunities to scale their business more efficiently only in the local market, but across Europe. By partnering with euShipments.com, they gain access to an integrated logistics network that simplifies cross-border expansion while reducing operational complexity and costs. Key benefits include:

  • Local inventory storage and order fulfillment in Austria, enabling faster and more competitive deliveries within the domestic market.
  • Access to multiple European markets and last-mile carriers through a single logistics partner, one contract, and one technology integration, eliminating the need to build separate logistics solutions for each country.
  • A scalable fulfillment model that easily adapts to seasonal peaks and business growth without additional operational complexity.
  • Transformation of fixed costs associated with operating an in-house fulfillment into variable ones, enabling eCommerce businesses to optimize their expenses and improve cash flow.
  • The ability to reinvest resources into sales growth, marketing, and international expansion, rather than warehouse infrastructure and operations.

“We have launched euShipments.com’s first Austrian fulfillment center in record time. This means that, with just one contract and via a single interface, local SMEs can now sell their products quickly and easily to more than 27 European countries. In doing so, we are not only supporting Austrian online retailers during what is currently a very challenging time, but also enabling them to grow further.” – commented Peter Umundum, Deputy CEO, Parcels & Logistics (COO), Austrian Post.

The new fulfillment hub offers particularly significant advantages for online merchants selling through marketplaces such as Amazon, as well as those operating their own online stores on platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento (Adobe Commerce).  Thanks to our direct integration with Amazon Seller Central and multiple other eCommerce platforms and marketplaces, they can fully automate their post-purchase operations. Combined with the scalability of the fulfillment operations at the new facility, this ensures that all orders are processed on time, even during peak shopping periods such as Black Friday and seasonal campaigns. Beyond providing operational and financial stability, this allows eCommerce businesses to focus entirely on driving more sales and expanding into new markets with confidence.

The Vienna fulfillment center spans a total warehouse area of 22050 sq.m. and is strategically designed to support the growing logistics needs of international eCommerce businesses. The facility combines high-rack storage, automated pallet storage systems, and AutoStore bins. Equipped with 40 loading ramps and directly connected to Austrian Post’s distribution network, the fulfillment center enables highly efficient inbound and outbound operations. Initially, euShipments.com’s fulfillment operations will span 350 sq.m., with additional space being gradually utilized as new fulfillment clients are onboarded to the facility.

Its advanced automation infrastructure includes an AutoStore system that provides goods-to-person picking, optimized cube storage utilization, automated storage and retrieval, real-time inventory visibility, and up to 200% higher picking performance compared to traditional manual processes. The new fulfillment hub also features AI-supported picking robots with visual object recognition technology, capable of handling items up to 30 kg and achieving a picking success rate of 97%.

The new facility strengthens euShipments.com’s operational footprint in the DACH region and further expands our fulfillment infrastructure across Europe. With the Vienna launch, we now operate 10 owned strategically located fulfillment centers. Together with our extensive network of last-mile delivery partners, these facilities form an advanced ecosystem designed specifically for international eCommerce growth. Online merchants benefit from a significantly simplified logistics model that includes a single integration and contract, centralized account management, and access to multiple European markets through one trusted partner.
