The CEO of Camco shares his experience in the new episode of our radio series

Ivo Dramav, CEO of Camco, was a guest of euShipments.com in the season’s last episode of our radio series in partnership with Darik radio. Our series follow the new trends and success stories of online sales in local and international markets, as well as the related logistics processes. The episode took place on July 11, and in the studio of Darik Cafe Dramov was accompanied by the commercial director of euShipments.com Vichren Bisset.

Camco – Business Details

Camco is a Bulgarian brand for manufacturing and trade of cosmetics and perfumery with over 30 years of history. Initially focusing on production processes and B2B offline sales, the company is gradually moving towards digital presence and B2C online sales in various channels – a complete omni-channel approach.

To date, Camco’s online store includes not only the company’s own perfume and cosmetic brands, but also products from other brands, which makes their platform a preferred online shopping destination for customers who value a wide selection and quality cosmetics.

Camco defines its development strategy with a single word – “global”. For over a decade, the company has been B2B exporting its products to over 50 countries on several continents. In recent years, B2C online sales have also been launched, currently operating on the local Bulgarian market, and soon on other European markets.

As Ivo emphasized during the discussion, “The market is changing and we have to change along with it. Omni-channel sales is the strategy that we implement and that customers are looking for. They want and expect shopping to be easy, fast and possible wherever they want – both online and in physical stores. Thus we must be present everywhere.”

Transforming Camco’s business from manufacturing and distribution to incorporating entirely new activities such as online sales requires a lot of time and resources for the company’s team. That’s why Dramov turns to outsourcing the processes Camco is not used to perform.

“Since our specialization is manufacturing and B2B sales, we wanted to work with an expert in the field of fulfillment and logistics. We wanted the complete package – fulfillment, communication with couriers, customer support, returns management, software, integrations – the entire logistics process that serves an online store.” – shared Ivo when asked by host Mihail Dyuzev why Camco partners with euShipments.com.

Camco stores its goods for online sales in our fulfillment center and entrusts the fulfillment and delivery of its online orders to euShipments.com. Thus, Ivo and his team free up resources for optimizations and development of the manufacturing and distribution part of the business, with the peace of mind that their online sales are logistically supported by the right partner.

Thanks to the already established and active integration between the two companies, euShipments.com provides Camco with its entire portfolio of services. This includes cross-border fulfillment through our 15 fulfillment centers in Europe, over 800 delivery methods, as well as reverse eCommerce logistics, i.e. managing returns and exchanges. Thus, at any moment, Camco can sell online and deliver to any point in the European Union, with a minimum of 2 last-mile couriers for each country and the Cash-on-delivery service active for 17 of them.

“Our goal is always to ‘become part’ of our clients’ companies. A logistics department inside their own companies – very well integrated, with very good communication connectivity, so that clients feel us like an in-house team.” – adds Bisset.
